Key responsibilities

- Serve as senior financial counterpart to major funders such as the Gates Foundation, managing co‑investment structures, milestone‑based funding, and foundation‑grade reporting.
- Ensure compliance with US NGO regulations (501(c)(3), Form 990, Uniform Guidance, federal awards) and maintain exemplary audit performance.
- Lead finance, IT, and continuous‑improvement initiatives, modernizing enterprise systems, automating processes, and delivering data‑driven decision support.
- Build and manage a high‑performing, globally distributed finance team and strengthen financial capability in country offices.
- Partner with the Board’s Finance and Audit committees, presenting risk, liquidity, and scenario analyses.
Required profile
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership in complex international organizations, including executive roles such as CFO or VP Finance.
- Deep knowledge of US regulatory requirements for international NGOs and experience with major global health funders.
- Proven track record of leading finance through transformation, restructuring, or major funding shifts.
- Executive presence with the ability to translate financial complexity for non‑financial audiences and work closely with Boards.
- Experience managing large, globally dispersed teams.
Required skills
- Expertise in US nonprofit financial regulations (501(c)(3), Form 990, Uniform Guidance, federal awards, single audits).
- Experience with major health funders’ reporting and partnership expectations.
- Leadership of finance transformation, enterprise‑system modernization, and data‑driven decision support.
What we offer
- Competitive annual salary range $240,000‑$300,000.
- Comprehensive benefits including vacation, holidays, personal and sick days, medical and dental plans, life insurance, disability, and retirement benefits.
- Opportunity to shape the financial future of a leading global health nonprofit.
