Chemical Operator – Production Shift

About the role

Join BASF Care Chemicals as a Chemical Operator in Cincinnati, OH. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, contributing to the creation of everyday products ranging from cosmetics to industrial chemicals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment, including reactors, refining units, and filtration systems.
• Ensure safe, efficient production while following standard operating procedures.
• Transfer materials between departments as required.
• Load tank trucks and rail cars for customer shipments.
• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine checks, and report any deviations.
• Work rotating shifts and be eligible for overtime.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for equipment monitoring.
