Charge Back Associate

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Charge Back Associate to handle internal and external inquiries and chargebacks, covering all aspects of its DMP chargeback functions. The role involves providing guidance, performing audits, testing and training daily, and working closely with the offshore team.

Key responsibilities

• Audit chargebacks to improve success rates
• Work in the DMP portal, AMP and Oracle and process AR accounting functions
• Track productivity to ensure quality of work
• Respond to escalated or sensitive inquiries and chargebacks
• Support other Avis Budget Group regions and help the offshore team succeed
• Help develop new policies and procedures and keep SOPs up to date
• Compile data for management and departmental reporting

Required profile

• Degree in business administration, finance or a related field
• 3-4 years of experience is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with fluctuating work volumes
• History of accuracy, attention to detail, efficiency and sound judgment
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills and discretion
• Knowledge of banking rules and regulations helpful; accounting experience helpful

Required skills

• Proficiency in the MS Office suite and navigating PC systems
