Certified Nursing Assistant – Private Duty Home Care

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing one‑on‑one private duty home care to adults in Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson counties. You will support clients with daily living activities while enjoying flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Assist with household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold current CNA certification.
• Passion for caregiving, empathy, patience, and a commitment to quality care.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Required skills

• CNA certification.
