Certified Nurses Aide – Home Health Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) for a per‑diem position to provide home health visits to adult and geriatric clients throughout York County, South Carolina. As a Home Health CNA you will join a multidisciplinary team delivering skilled nursing, rehabilitative care, and personal support so clients can remain safely at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, nail care, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Support transfers using mechanical lifting devices and assist with ambulation.
• Check vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Provide medication assistance and document care activities.

Required profile

• Active, good‑standing registration on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.
• Minimum one year of verifiable CNA work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination and a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation to travel throughout York County.
