About the role
Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a full‑time Certified Nurse Midwife to join its OB/GYN team at the Pottsville outpatient practice and the nearby Lehigh Valley Hospital‑Schuylkill campus. The role includes office duties, 24‑hour shifts, and on‑call coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative team of midwives, APCs, and physicians.
- Work one office day per week and two 24‑hour shifts (including one full‑day call) each week.
- Participate in care at Level I NICU newborn nursery and support family birth centers.
Required profile
- Current Pennsylvania nursing license.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program.
- At least 2 years of Certified Nurse Midwife experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
Required skills
- Certified Nurse Midwife credential.
- Knowledge of OB/GYN clinical practices.
