Certified Dental Assistant – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our fast‑growing pediatric dental practice. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM‑2:00 PM, offering a dynamic environment where each day brings a unique experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures and take/develop dental radiographs.
• Review patient medical histories, record vital signs, and provide pre/post‑operative oral care instructions.
• Teach patients oral‑hygiene strategies and take dental impressions for study casts.
• Complete pre‑op/post‑op x‑rays for insurance purposes and chart treatments in Dentrix Ascend software.

Required profile

• Current Certified Dental Assistant with a Radiation/X‑Ray Certificate.
• Completed training in Infection Control and CPR/BLS.
• Ability to work Saturdays and provide excellent patient service.

Required skills

• Dental radiography (X‑Ray) certification.
• Infection control procedures.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend dental software.
