About the role

Key responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery, reporting any adverse conditions to the supervising anesthesiologist.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories, perform relevant physical exam elements, and discuss anesthetic plans before induction.
• Pre‑test and calibrate anesthesia delivery systems, administer blood products and supportive fluids, and respond to emergencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants.
• Valid BLS and ACLS (or ALS) certification.
• No prior work experience required.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) proficiency.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ALS proficiency.
• Operation and calibration of anesthesia delivery systems.
