CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver (Home Daily)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers to pull van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home daily and enjoy PTO after 90 days.

Key responsibilities

• Operate van trailers up to 53' and double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight safely between R+L service centers and designated locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT physical, drug screening, and road test requirements.
• Perform routine lifting, bending, and stooping as needed.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition specifications).
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Handling of van trailers up to 53'.
• Handling of double trailers.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
