Category Analyst

About the role

The Category Analyst supports the Category Management and Sales teams by turning data into actionable insights, managing space‑planning projects, and helping shape the assortment strategy for our beverage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of space‑management analyses and create category shelf schematics using standardized tools.
• Gather, cleanse, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources and load it into planograms.
• Collaborate with Category Leadership and Sales partners to prioritize accounts and drive initiatives related to space, assortment, and sales analytics.
• Update, manage, and refine scorecards and reports to measure performance of space and assortment opportunities.
• Support the development of category insights, presentations, and analyses for new item introductions, promotion effectiveness, and seasonal trends.
• Prepare analytical materials and slide decks for business planning meetings.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and develop clear insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and interacting with retailers.
• Detail‑oriented learner who can quickly master software tools and processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer‑goods environment.
