Cataract Refractive Manager

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Cataract Refractive Manager to support its Sales & Sales Support function across Kansas City, Wichita, KS, and Springfield, MO. The role focuses on driving sales of surgical ophthalmic products, building relationships with eye‑care professionals, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned accounts and territories.
• Promote and sell Alcon surgical ophthalmic products through demonstrations, events, and regular customer visits.
• Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and high‑volume users.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain a customer database.
• Conduct competitive market analysis and provide timely sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, or M.S.).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience in the ophthalmic or medical device field.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Required skills

• Ability to manage own workload and schedule while meeting targets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and key opinion leaders.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
