About the role

Join Sedano’s Supermarkets as a part‑time Cashier in Miami, providing friendly and efficient service to our customers during the afternoon shift. You will be the front‑line representative, ensuring smooth checkout experiences while upholding store safety and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and address their needs promptly.
• Scan items, weigh produce, and operate the POS cash register accurately.
• Accept all forms of payment, provide correct change, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Perform price checks, bag purchases, and assist with loading items into carts when required.
• Return discarded items to shelves, keep the checkout area clean, and follow safety protocols.
• Report any hazardous situations to the store manager immediately.

Required profile

• Friendly, customer‑focused attitude and ability to follow store policies.
• Willingness to work the afternoon shift on a part‑time basis.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash responsibly.
• Adherence to uniform and dress‑code standards.
