About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team at Sedano’s Supermarkets in Miami. This part‑time position involves providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions at the checkout.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them throughout the checkout process.
• Scan items accurately, weigh produce, and operate the cash register to process all payment methods.
• Maintain the cash drawer, ensuring sufficient change and performing cash counts at the start and end of each shift.
• Bag purchases, help load items into carts, and return discarded items to shelves.
• Perform price checks, keep the checkout area clean and organized, and promptly report any safety hazards to the store manager.

Required profile

• Positive attitude and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to follow store policies, safety procedures, and dress code.
• Reliability for scheduled part‑time shifts, typically in the afternoon.

Required skills

• Operation of a point‑of‑sale (POS) cash register.
• Basic cash handling and change making.
