Carpenter – Construction Projects in Apache Junction, AZ

About the role

Archer Western Construction is seeking an experienced carpenter to join the team working on the Apache Junction Sewer District project in Apache Junction, Arizona. You will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and installing a variety of wood‑based structures on commercial, industrial, and heavy‑civil job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Measure distances and mark guidelines on work surfaces to prepare for material placement.
• Prepare, build, and install wooden structures such as bridges, drainage walls, and other prefabricated units.
• Assist with the installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs when required.
• Utilize a carpenter’s belt equipped with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of verifiable carpentry experience.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety policies, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency with carpentry hand tools.
• Experience operating power tools.
• Knowledge of woodworking machines.
• Accurate measuring and marking techniques.
