Cargo Supervisor (Boston)

About the role

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a Cargo Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day cargo operations at its Boston hub. You will ensure high‑quality service for customers, coordinate with ground handling agents, and uphold Emirates SkyCargo standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and coordinate operational activities to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Delegate tasks and supervise staff, ground handling agents and third‑party contractors.
• Monitor GHA performance, address shortcomings promptly and resolve delays, disruptions or cargo mishandling.
• Review, collate and compile cargo documentation in line with local regulations and company policies.
• Complete post‑flight activities, dispatch messages, file documentation and handle irregularities.
• Investigate and respond to queries, complaints and claims from internal and external customers.
• Maintain cargo systems, file rates and support accurate revenue accounting.
• Motivate, train and provide feedback to staff; manage rostering, performance appraisals and administrative supplies.
• Act as senior officer on duty when no manager is present.

Required profile

• Current or previously held Dangerous Goods (DG) certificate.
• Knowledge of Weight & Balance procedures and Live Animal Regulations.
• Strong analytical and numeracy abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email communication.
