Cardiovascular Technician II

About the role

The Cardiovascular Technician II works on the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus supporting the Peds Cardiology-Children's Institute. The role involves performing ECG and cardiac stress tests, processing results, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12‑lead Electrocardiograms, Holter monitor hook‑ups, and cardiac stress testing (including 24‑hour, 48‑hour, and 30‑day event monitors).
• Notify physicians, nurses, or managers of abnormal results and coordinate supply needs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, escalating unresolved issues to Clinical Engineering.
• Process test results before and after physician interpretation.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross.
• Preferred: Allied Health credentials, cardiac technician or EEG program completion, and at least six months ECG/Stress testing experience.

Required skills
