Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) - Full-Time Day Shift

About the role

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a full-time day shift position. The role involves adjusting care based on patient and family understanding of test procedures, troubleshooting equipment and patient issues, and assisting physicians with specialized cardiovascular procedures. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust the approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or patient issues.
• Prioritize clinical and administrative work independently and identify process improvements.
• Assist physicians in specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluate and document patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited program in invasive cardiovascular technology, or an academic program in health science.
• 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred; special procedures experience preferred.
• RCIS or RCES certification required, or R.T.(CI)(ARRT) required; CSA or CST preferred; ACLS preferred; BLS/CPR required.

Pay range: $32.53 - $60.50.
