Med Surg RN Contract - Nights, 36 hrs/wk

AdventHealth is hiring a Med Surg RN for a contract position in Parker, Colorado, working nights on a PRN schedule of 36 hours per week. The pay is listed as $78.60 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills appropriate to the patient's level of care.
• Collect and document patient health data systematically and on time.
• Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments, analyze the data and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
• Implement interventions from the plan of care safely, timely and appropriately, documenting what was done.
• Collaborate with the team and promote timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge and transfer.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN).
• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluent in English, read, spoken and written.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications preferred.

Required skills

• High-level abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions and revise the plan of care.
• Basic computer skills, including navigating Microsoft Windows programs.
