About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus seeks a Registered Nurse for its 19‑bed Cardiovascular ICU (Q5). You will care for patients recovering from advanced cardiac surgery, including minimally invasive robotic procedures, in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and execute physician orders.
Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and update care plans.
Educate patients and families, and coordinate discharge planning.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) with current RN licensure.
At least one year of acute‑care RN experience; military RN experience considered.
Ability to work day/night rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for critical‑care area).
Physical ability to lift patients and perform duties in a high‑stress, fast‑moving ICU.
