Cardiac Cath Lab Technician (RCIS or ARRT)

About the role

AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida is hiring a full-time day-shift Cardiac Cath Lab Technician. The position requires either an RCIS or an ARRT credential and involves monitoring patients during procedures and keeping accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Record procedure details accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient status during the procedure and report any variances to the physician immediately.
• Report or correct building or equipment deficiencies as needed.
• Remove malfunctioning equipment or instruments according to policy.
• Follow policies on the handling and removal of biohazardous materials.

Required profile

• Associate degree (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Field of study: nursing or science.
• Clinicals or previous employment within a cath lab (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification (required).
• RN, R.T.(R)(ARRT), RRT, RCIS, RCES, R.T.(CV)(ARRT) or licensed paramedic (required).

Pay range: $31.86 - $59.27. Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting. The employer is an equal opportunity employer.
