Cannabis Processing Lab Technician

About the role

C3 Industries is seeking a Processing Lab Technician to assist with extracting cannabis into various concentrates, ensuring production schedules are met and compliance with state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare biomass and equipment for extraction and perform specific extraction processes.
• Conduct distillations, refine concentrates, and record data in lab notebooks and databases.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on extraction instruments.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, manage inventory of supplies and spare parts, and coordinate ordering with the Lab Manager.
• Collaborate with Lead Processing Technician, Lab Manager, and VP to develop and revise SOPs.
• Participate in internal and external inspections and audits.

Required profile

• Experience working in a laboratory environment with knowledge of safety protocols.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including potential weekends or holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years old, pass a background check, and obtain required state licenses.

Required skills

• Distillation experience (spinning band or short path preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory database entry.
• Equipment setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Handling compressed gases and high‑pressure systems.
• Inventory management of materials, supplies, and consumables.
