Call Center Representative

About the role

Reiter, Hill & Johnson is seeking a full‑time Call Center Representative at its Chevy Chase, MD office. The role involves greeting, registering and scheduling patients while supporting providers to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records.
• Perform new‑patient registration and update existing patient information using Athena EMR.
• Handle upset or dissatisfied customers, resolve issues, and document messages.
• Read and respond to portal messages, file referrals, and conduct outreach calls for new appointments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred).
• Minimum two years of customer support experience in a medical/clinical setting.
• Strong phone, verbal communication and active‑listening skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Experience with EMR and scheduling systems: Athena, Greenway, Phreesia.
