Collections Specialist

About the role

The Collections Specialist handles inbound and outbound calls to collect charged‑off accounts, building strong connections with consumers to support company success. The role offers competitive hourly pay, a bonus structure, and monthly contests in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make and receive calls to collect delinquent accounts.
• Establish positive rapport with consumers to facilitate payment.
• Meet performance targets and participate in monthly contests.

Required profile

• Two years of debt collection, sales, or telemarketing experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of FDCPA and related regulations (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong negotiation and customer‑service abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• General computer literacy.
