Cafeteria Attendant / Steward – Employee Dining

About the role

The Cafeteria Attendant/Steward supports the employee dining room at Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club. Working in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment, you will help prepare and serve food while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare set‑up and salad bar items and retrieve food from the kitchen for the hot line.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafeteria kitchen, seating areas, and equipment; restock condiments and paper goods.
• Date, label and rotate all food containers; ensure proper storage temperatures and monitor inventory.
• Control food waste, report shortages, and assist with cost‑control actions.
• Operate dish machines to clean and sanitize china, glass and silverware; polish silver as required.
• Sanitize major kitchen equipment and food‑service areas in accordance with safety policies.

Required profile

• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment and adhering to food‑safety standards.
