C++ Mid-Level Software Developer

About the role

CACI is looking for a motivated, experienced mid-level C++ full software cycle developer to support the Ship Design and Submarine Development group of the NSWC Carderock Division. The group develops cross-platform (Windows and Linux) applications using a unique non-relational database, and works with other developers and engineers on ongoing and future projects. The position is full time, requires a Secret clearance, and involves being on site most of the week with some flexibility for remote work with approval.

Key responsibilities

• Complete pull requests that are assigned or available to sign up for.
• Work as a team to accomplish complex tasking.
• Be willing to learn new concepts and software lifecycle tools.
• Work with software testers to ensure submitted code works as intended.
• Communicate and give current status during meetings led by the tech lead or project lead.

Required profile

• Secret level security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ certification, or ability to obtain it by the start date.
• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background and expertise in C++ development.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and pull requests while communicating effectively with the project lead and other group members.

The proposed pay range is $72,700 - $149,200, depending on location, contract category, experience, skills and education.
