Buyer 2 – Indirect Purchasing

About the role

We are seeking a Buyer 2 – Indirect Purchasing to lead strategic sourcing for IT services, software and professional services that support our global reinsurance, vehicle service contract, extended warranty and claims operations. The role is based in Franklin, TN and works on a hybrid schedule with four days on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for technology platforms, cloud services, software development, data services and cybersecurity solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships across extended‑warranty administration, policy management, claims processing and actuarial reporting tools.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, Information Security, Risk and regional procurement teams to ensure compliance with global regulatory and data‑governance requirements.
• Present sourcing plans and performance metrics to executive leadership.
• Travel up to 20 % to support supplier and site engagements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional procurement experience, preferably in indirect or IT services sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (8 years without degree, 4 years with associate degree).
• Ability to work on‑site in Franklin, TN and travel as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using procurement software and tools.
• Project‑management experience.
