Business Technology Specialist

About the role

The Business Technology Specialist translates process improvement initiatives into technology solutions, coordinating workflow, system, and automation changes across institutional platforms. This full‑time position supports the Continuous Improvement team, Enterprise Applications, and functional departments on the main campus.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technology solutions and configure enterprise platforms.
• Design, implement, and maintain workflow automation and low‑code/no‑code solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve processes through technology and AI‑enabled features.
• Collaborate with IT and Enterprise Applications to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and support training and adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in business systems analysis, technology implementation, or workflow automation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Banner, Canvas LMS, Kuali Build, Microsoft Power Platform.
• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data flows, and automation concepts.
• Ability to assess and apply AI‑enabled tools for process improvement.
