Business Technology Specialist

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks a Business Technology Specialist to translate process improvement initiatives into technology solutions. The role works closely with the Continuous Improvement team, Enterprise Applications, and functional departments to enhance efficiency and user experience across institutional platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technology solutions and configure enterprise platforms.
• Design, implement, and support workflow automation and low‑code/no‑code solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve processes through technology and AI‑enabled features.
• Collaborate with IT and Enterprise Applications teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and training for new implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in business systems analysis, technology implementation, workflow automation, or related roles.
• Experience working with platforms such as Salesforce, Banner, Canvas LMS, Kuali Build, or Microsoft Power Platform.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams.
