Business Process Champion – Planning

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Business Process Champion – Planning to lead end‑to‑end process excellence during its Business Modernization Program. The role focuses on designing, standardizing and optimizing planning processes aligned with SAP Activate methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own future‑state planning processes, championing standardization and governance across the operating group.
• Partner with ERP functional analysts, SMEs and project engineers to drive modernization through workshops, configuration decisions and testing.
• Support data migration, training, change management, cut‑over planning and go‑live readiness.
• Monitor KPIs, identify automation opportunities and lead continuous improvement initiatives post‑implementation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and audit standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience with planning platforms and strong knowledge of ERP, MES and PLM integrations.
• Proven facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Analytical mindset with ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (<10%).

Required skills

• ERP planning processes (demand management, integrated business planning, supply planning, master scheduling, capacity analysis).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Activate methodology.
• Knowledge of MES and PLM systems.
• Process design, governance and continuous improvement tools.
