Associate Project Manager

About the role

Moog’s Corporate IT Project Management Office is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the execution of technology and business initiatives. You will plan and deliver multiple small to medium projects or workstreams within larger initiatives, working on existing technology or limited new platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned project or workstream scope, define milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Manage project costs, resources, and budgets for small to medium initiatives.
• Facilitate project ceremonies, create agendas, and capture outcomes and action items.
• Provide clear status updates on schedule, scope, costs, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of experience in project coordination, project management, or Agile delivery.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage competing priorities.
• Must live locally in the Buffalo, NY area.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, quality, RAID, change management).
• Familiarity with Agile, traditional, and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience with project and work management tools such as SPM, Project Online, Azure DevOps, or similar.
