Business Outside Sales Executive

About the role

Cal-Ore Communications is looking for a driven Business Outside Sales Executive to expand its telecommunications services across Northern California and Southern Oregon. The role involves developing new territories, managing existing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and close new business sales opportunities in targeted markets.
• Expand into new service territories and maintain a strong, consistent sales pipeline.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including retention and growth of existing accounts.
• Identify customer needs and align them with Cal-Ore’s internet, data, voice, and hosted phone services.
• Collaborate with engineering, service contractors, and back‑office teams to ensure successful delivery.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in telecommunications or technology.
• Proven success managing sales territories and developing new markets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

What we offer

• Base salary $50,000‑$60,000 (DOE) plus commission, total OTE $74,000‑$84,000 annually.
