Business Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Manager to be the operational backbone of LiteLLM. You will ensure our finances are accurate, our people are supported, and all administrative, legal, and operational tasks are handled promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books, categorize and reconcile every transaction, and manage accounts payable, reimbursements, payroll coordination, invoicing, and financial records.
• Investigate spending discrepancies, keep the financial model up‑to‑date, and coordinate with external accountants, CPA, and tax advisors.
• Own day‑to‑day HR administration including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee records using platforms such as Rippling or Gusto.
• Coordinate contracts, insurance, registrations, compliance deadlines, and work with legal counsel when needed.
• Support office management, vendor coordination, events, travel, and assist founders with high‑priority administrative projects.
• Identify operational gaps and take ownership without waiting for detailed instructions.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and comfortable tracking every dollar.
• Strong judgment to know when to involve external experts.
• Hands‑on, proactive, and able to follow tasks through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with founders, vendors, and external specialists.

Required skills

• Experience with Rippling or similar HR platforms.
• Experience with Gusto or similar payroll platforms.
