Business Management Instructor (Full‑time)

About the role

Savannah Technical College, part of the State of Georgia, is seeking a full‑time Business Management Instructor. The 12‑month position is based at the Savannah campus and may involve teaching at other college locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and deliver classroom and online instruction for Business Management courses.
• Develop program and course syllabi, set goals and objectives, and evaluate student progress.
• Provide academic support services, including student advisement, registration, and tutoring.
• Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Maintain program certification requirements and complete required documentation and reports.
• Stay current with industry trends through professional development activities.
• Participate in college committees, community service, and recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
• Ensure safety and security in instructional spaces and collaborate with staff and employers to maximize student placements.

Required profile

• Willingness to work split teaching shifts and flexible schedules.
• Ability to manage and recruit adjunct instructors.
• Commitment to maintaining enrollment levels and fostering employer partnerships.
