Business Insurance Client Advisor

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Business Insurance Client Advisor in Miami. The advisor manages a high-profile, complex book of business that generates substantial revenue for the company. The role sits on the Business Insurance team and combines personalized service with the resources of Marsh.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals and provide insurance advice on the technical aspects and service support of new and renewal business, including retaining existing accounts
• Handle communication and client service with internal and external clients
• Use the Sagitta Agency Management System and document management system
• Mentor associates and solve problems, including abstract reasoning
• Manage client accounts receivables and payables
• Apply good time management and organization

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active and current Florida 2-20 insurance license
• 5 years of account management experience within an insurance agency
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Thorough knowledge of insurance terminology and products and their usage

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent customer service skills and clear verbal and written communication

A Bachelor's degree, Sagitta and/or ImageRight experience, and a supervisory background are listed as a plus but not required.
