Business Development Representative (Remote)

About the role

PACKAGE.AI is looking for a full-time, remote Business Development Representative to support its growth in AI-powered customer experience solutions for the retail industry. The role is based in the United States Eastern Time Zone and involves identifying prospective customers, engaging key decision-makers, running targeted outreach and building a qualified sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting across target accounts in the United States and other assigned markets.
• Research companies, decision-makers and industry trends to find potential business opportunities.
• Develop personalized outreach campaigns by email, telephone and LinkedIn.
• Run structured sales sequences with consistency and attention to detail.
• Engage directors, vice presidents and C-level executives to start business conversations.
• Work with sales leadership to qualify prospects and move opportunities forward.
• Maintain accurate customer and activity records in the CRM and track pipeline progress.
• Improve outreach messaging and sales strategy based on performance and feedback, using AI-enabled sales tools.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of proven B2B outbound sales experience, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field (not stated as mandatory).
• Experience with lead generation, account research, outbound prospecting and pipeline development.
• Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and writing professional, personalized messages.
• Strong analytical research, attention to detail and time management.
• Must be based in the United States Eastern Time Zone.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HubSpot, Google Workspace (G Suite), ZoomInfo or similar sales and productivity platforms.
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools and emerging sales technology.

Salary is estimated at $60,000-$90,000 per year. Applications are submitted through the company's recruitment portal.
