Business Development Representative

About the role

Jet Direct Mortgage is seeking an experienced Business Development professional to act as the primary liaison between clients and loan originators, supporting mortgage loan origination in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of mortgage loan files, gathering and tracking required documentation.
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with mortgage processors and provide status updates.
• Contact customers to obtain necessary loan documents and prepare files for loan officer review.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and company policies, including SAFE Act requirements.

Required profile

• Honest, ethical, and hardworking with strong interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting a mortgage or banking branch or loan officer.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize changing workloads.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Encompass or similar mortgage loan origination software.
• Knowledge of regulatory, policy, and compliance issues in the mortgage industry.
