Business Development Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join Canva’s Sales and Success team. In this role you will help identify and nurture strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth while promoting Canva’s collaborative design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Success teams to build and manage a strategic pipeline.
• Generate demand through cold outreach methods such as calling, emailing and social selling.
• Maintain pipeline hygiene using tools like Salesforce, Pocus, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and Gong.
• Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to align business development initiatives.
• Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven track record of identifying and executing partnerships that generate revenue.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Organised with excellent time‑management skills and goal‑oriented mindset.
• Experience with cold outreach, account planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling.
