Business Development Manager US Army

About the role

As the Business Development Manager for the US Army, you will drive sales and pipeline development for Robin Radar's counter‑UAS portfolio across the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. You will own the full sales lifecycle, from shaping requirements to contract award, while linking field feedback to internal R&D.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, manage and close opportunities through FAR‑based procurements, OTAs, CSOs, BAAs and SBIR pathways.
• Monitor Army C‑UAS program roadmaps, competitive sensor landscapes and evolving requirements to shape capture strategies.
• Build trusted relationships with program offices, requirement owners, testing organizations and prime integrators.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and contract agreements aligned with corporate goals.
• Channel field feedback to R&D, bid operations, systems engineering and marketing teams.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export controls (EAR, ITAR) and manage spectrum authorizations and Buy American Act guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience.
• 7+ years of defense business development experience with proven U.S. Army sales success.
• Track record of capturing named U.S. Army programs, contract vehicles, OTAs or BAAs.
• U.S. Person status under EAR/ITAR and eligibility for security clearance.
• Preferred prior experience in U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery (14‑series MOS or officer).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to key Army sites and events.

Required skills

• Domain knowledge of counter‑UAS systems and radar sensors.
• Understanding of air‑defense architectures and spectrum constraints.
