Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our AI‑powered ingredient sourcing platform across the United States. You will target scaling food and consumer‑goods brands, helping them solve operational, cash‑flow and supply‑chain challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage scaling USA food and consumer‑goods brands via phone, LinkedIn, email and industry events.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover operational pain points, cash‑flow pressure and supply‑chain challenges.
• Qualify leads with precision and hand them off to Account Executives.
• Collaborate closely with Growth, Marketing and Product teams, feeding market intelligence back into the business.
• Help shape sales playbooks, own a defined territory and contribute to the commercial strategy as the company scales.

Required profile

• Outbound‑focused, commercially driven mindset.
• Consultative selling style with strong communication skills.
• Motivated, hungry and able to own a sales pipeline.
• Comfortable using multiple outreach channels and attending in‑person events.
• Experience selling B2B solutions to food or consumer‑goods brands is a plus.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary $65,000 – $75,000 per year plus uncapped OTE (Year 1 OTE $100,000).
