Business Development Manager

About the role
We are seeking a senior Business Development Manager to own and scale our outbound business development strategy in New York. You will build the operating cadence, reporting, and leadership bench needed to grow a high‑performing BDR organization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead outbound strategy across target segments, including targeting, messaging, and channel mix.
- Own top‑of‑funnel pipeline goals and continuously improve conversion and efficiency.
- Hire, develop, and lead BDR managers and representatives, creating clear career paths and coaching infrastructure.
- Define and manage funnel KPIs, implement dashboards and performance reporting.
- Build repeatable outbound processes such as workflows, QA, enablement, experimentation, and handoffs.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing/Growth to align pipeline quality, campaigns, and GTM priorities.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading BDR teams or managers in a high‑growth environment.
- Strong command of outbound metrics, pipeline analytics, and performance management.
- Builder mindset with a hands‑on approach to creating scalable systems and playbooks.
- Excellent cross‑functional partnership skills with Sales and Marketing leadership.
- High standards for execution, accountability, culture, and coaching ability.
- Nice to have: multi‑site leadership experience and experience building training programs or outbound experimentation frameworks.
