About the role
Juvia’s Place is seeking a National Key Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison with Ulta Beauty. You will own the end‑to‑end retailer relationship, drive profitable growth across stores and Ulta.com, and align the brand’s vibrant, heritage‑inspired color cosmetics with Ulta’s commercial priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the day‑to‑day and strategic point of contact for Ulta Beauty buyers, planners, and cross‑functional partners.
- Lead development, negotiation, and execution of annual joint business plans, covering assortment, distribution, promotional calendar, and innovation launches.
- Negotiate retailer contracts, MAP/pricing, markdown agreements, and trade investment while ensuring compliance with financial targets and legal requirements.
- Own the Ulta P&L, including net sales forecast, gross‑to‑net, trade spend, co‑op marketing investment, and contribution margin.
- Build and manage the annual Ulta budget, perform quarterly re‑forecasts, and partner with Finance on accruals, deductions, and ROI analysis.
- Develop long‑range account strategy for door expansion, channel mix, and category share growth across eye, lip, face, and complexion.
- Lead innovation pitches, sell‑in decks, and quarterly business reviews with senior Ulta leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales & Operations, Marketing, and Field teams to translate retailer strategy into in‑store execution, education plans, and 360° marketing programs.
- Monitor sell‑in vs. sell‑through performance weekly, identify risks and opportunities, and drive corrective actions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
- 7+ years of beauty/CPG sales experience, with at least 3 years in a national account role; direct Ulta Beauty experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record negotiating complex retailer contracts and managing multi‑million‑dollar trade budgets.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and ROI analysis.
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills with senior retailer and internal stakeholders.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑moving, founder‑led environment and is passionate about the brand’s mission.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- Familiarity with retailer POS data platforms such as Stackline, Circana/NPD, and the Ulta vendor portal
