Business Applications Lead – Finance Systems

About the role

The Business Applications Lead, Finance Systems is a hands‑on technical administrator responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing Rowan's core finance and procurement platforms, primarily NetSuite and Coupa. This role sits within the Technology Team and serves as the primary technical authority for these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Procurement stakeholders to translate functional requirements into system configurations, workflows, and controls.
• Implement, configure, and administer NetSuite and Coupa, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage financial system data with emphasis on accuracy, auditability, and reporting alignment.
• Oversee sandbox refreshes, release testing, change management, and stable deployments.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, controls, and SOPs.
• Administer system access, roles, and permissions per governance and segregation‑of‑duties standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience implementing, configuring, and administering NetSuite in a cross‑functional environment.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules (Advanced Financials, Multi‑Book Accounting, OneWorld) and native configuration tools.
• Experience managing financial system data integrity and auditability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage change requests and releases in a controlled, documented manner.

Required skills

• NetSuite administration (workflows, saved searches, roles, custom fields, reporting).
• Coupa procurement platform.
• iPaaS solutions such as Celigo or Workato (plus).
• SuiteScript, SuiteFlow or similar NetSuite automation tools.
• Financial close, account reconciliation, fixed‑asset and lease accounting solutions (e.g., FloQast, NetGain NetAsset, NetLessor).
