Business and Financial Analyst

About the role

The Business and Financial Analyst provides professional business support, handling financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for high‑priority initiatives supporting the U.S. Navy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of cost proposals, develop pricing strategies and conduct profitability analyses.
• Monitor project budgets using TM1, analyze forecasts, and lead quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports and contribute to firm‑fixed‑price revenue and loss reporting.
• Collaborate with program managers, procurement and HR to optimize personnel utilization and non‑labor cost forecasting.
• Lead small teams on lower‑complexity project activities and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in financial principles and ability to apply them to moderately complex assignments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
