Building Project Manager - Water and Wastewater

About the role

F.H. Paschen, a construction company with over 115 years of experience, is looking for a Building Project Manager to lead a variety of projects and manage the project team in the Water and Wastewater Treatment market. Projects may involve private and public owners and delivery methods such as lump sum, negotiated and design-build work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts and/or work orders and supervise the project team assigned to them
• Collaborate with other project managers and monitor superintendents' performance
• Create and collaborate on work proposals, and act as administrative point of contact for the owner
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners, and document changes affecting completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners
• Develop the field quality assurance and quality control plan and collaborate on the project safety plan with the superintendent
• Manage MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements and EEO/Affirmative Action contract requirements
• Report to various work locations as assigned

Required profile

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, or 10 years of construction experience
• At least 6 years managing construction projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel at once
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software
• Great communication and organizational skills
