About the role

The Building Automation Systems Tech I supports the Facilities Engineering‑Operations team at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, ensuring building systems operate safely and efficiently. The role works evenings, Monday‑Friday, with occasional travel to other Cleveland Clinic locations in Northeast Ohio.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, analyzing and maintaining Building Automation Systems and related remote connections.
  • Respond to alarms and alerts, monitor critical temperature and humidity devices, and calibrate sensors.
  • Record data for digital and pneumatic control devices and support inventory management.
  • Travel to other Cleveland Clinic sites as needed.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of exposure to HVAC or building automation systems.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Required skills

  • HVAC knowledge.
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS) troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
