BT Team Lead

About the role

The BT Team Lead oversees a group of Behavior Technician staff at ICAN, a multidisciplinary clinic serving children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. This role includes management duties, onboarding, mentoring, and ensuring the quality and sustainability of ABA treatment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of clients and provide direct RBT intervention sessions.
• Conduct monthly check‑ins with Behavior Technicians and address their concerns.
• Support onboarding, interview coordination, training schedules, and progress monitoring for new staff.
• Implement departmental policies, attend community events, and lead team trainings on clinical, administrative, and operational topics.
• Collaborate with the Director, HR, and rehab providers to solve program and departmental issues.

Required profile

• Current certification/licensure as a BCBA and LBA in Washington, or as a LaBA, or as an RBT with CBT licensure plus at least 2 years of field experience.
• Minimum two years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Ability to pass background screening and verification.

Required skills

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) licensure.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) licensure.
• Experience implementing ABA services for children with autism.
