BSN Instructor – Accelerated Track

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith seeks a dedicated Instructor to teach the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Accelerated Track. This non‑tenure‑track faculty position focuses on delivering high‑quality, hands‑on nursing education to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lecture, lab, and clinical instruction for the accelerated BSN curriculum.
• Design course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with accreditation standards.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Advise and mentor nursing students throughout their program.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve the nursing program.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing (or related field) and active RN licensure.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, preferably in an accelerated BSN program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage a diverse classroom.
• Commitment to the university’s mission of inclusive, hands‑on learning.
