Breast Radiology Physician

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a Breast Radiology Physician. The role centres on compassionate, patient-centred care, with patients seen in the office and hospital rounding required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the centre's office-based EMR
• Prescribe medication or therapy when necessary and recommend lifestyle changes to improve quality of life
• Explain medical procedures and test results thoroughly, and give patients a plan of care
• Consult with other doctors about each patient's needs and participate in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics
• Serve on the hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested
• Work to improve patient satisfaction scores and team goals, and take part in business development and marketing

Required profile

• MD or DO, board certified or board eligible in radiology with breast fellowship
• New graduates or experienced physicians will both be considered
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make sound decisions independently, and lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs
• Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, TB/PPD surveillance and maintenance of professional license or certification

Required skills
