Breakfast Host – Continental Breakfast Attendant

About the role

The Breakfast Host is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the complimentary continental breakfast area at our Gatlinburg lodge. This role ensures a clean, welcoming environment and supports housekeeping after breakfast.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide courteous service in the breakfast area.
• Set up and stock breakfast items each morning, maintaining cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the area after service, handling trash disposal and inventory organization.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front‑desk teams, attend staff meetings, and assist with laundry and stockroom duties as needed.

Required profile

• Available for early mornings, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; hospitality or food‑service experience a plus.

Required skills

• Basic food safety knowledge (training provided if needed).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
