BRE Developer – IBM ODM Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a BRE Developer with strong expertise in IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) to design, implement and manage business rules that drive our decision‑making processes. The role works closely with product owners, data scientists and cross‑functional teams to deliver automated, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain business rules using IBM ODM.
• Collaborate with business product owners to translate analytical needs into functional designs.
• Create and optimise database schemas, stored procedures and ETL workflows in Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL T‑SQL.
• Manage production deployments and ensure smooth operation of decision services.
• Automate event processing and governance rule enforcement using Python.
• Partner with data engineers, data scientists and software developers to build data‑driven solutions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations through automated decision processes.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of development experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
